The Roof, The Roof, The Roof is Not Done

As the title suggests, the roof of my apartment complex is still under construction. I have high hopes that they are nearing the end, as the tar-paper is on, and I believe they were blowing insulation into it last week. Hopefully that just means a few more days of getting the actual shingles on and they’ll be gone. I really hope so, because I’m tired of the generator immediately outside my primary window. In writing news, I have gotten some done, though I am super unfocused, and bouncing from project to project like a ferret on crack. It’s not helping that all the current projects I am interested in are at about the same point: needing to sit down and timeline out the plot/iron out plot points. Well, so much for updating regularly…

As I have mentioned previously, I’m working on my Master’s degree. It is a fuck-ton of work. Possibly even a metric fuck-ton. I don’t know what that is, but I’m assuming it’s larger than a regular fuck-ton. Fuck-ton is fun to say. Fuck-ton. I am possibly sleep-deprived. I’ve gotten no knitting done, I’ve barely managed to keep the apartment clean (the cat refuses to help vacuum), and writing has been mainly jotting notes here and there when they occur to me. Tonight, the semester is over, my finals are done, I passed two of them, the third we’re not speaking about.
