I Received Minor Injuries

The students escaped unscathed. This is the first week back to school, and is actually my first week of college ever where I am not working an “outside” job while going to school. I am TAing, but I think it’s actually going to be less hours per week than when I was working full time and taking less units. The cat is rather needy, though I understand since she’s used to me working from home and getting “lap time” whenever she wanted it, and now it’s rationed to the evenings. Today were the first Lab Sessions I TA’d. And the lines about injury were not a joke. I managed to give myself a paper cut (from a manilla envelope, no less) right before the first lab started. Aborist Astrology

Your weird link of the week is this one, to What Tree Did you Fall From. It’s kind of like your star sign, but it associates date ranges with a specific tree. I find this interesting as a character building tool, more than anything.  Josh Lanyon in his book on writing M/M fiction suggests using a birth date and star signs to help flesh out a character. I found this interesting as a similar tool, and thought I’d share.
